About Rick
Richard (Rick) Greiber, an industry recognized leader in spinal implant distribution and marketing, leads Life Spine’s international business development efforts. Rick is also actively involved in planning and coordinating activities for surgeons to learn newer, less invasive spine surgery approaches and make connections for future clinical collaboration.

I have had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most forward-looking and ambitious spine and neuro surgeons in the world. It’s so satisfying to have dialogue with them about what they see over the near term and longer term, and then plan strategic marketing activities, including educational events around some of those future directions, in different countries and geographic regions throughout the world.”
Early in his career, Rick was trained as a sales rep on anatomy and surgical approaches and techniques at J & J’s Ethicon wound closure division, which gave him a foundation for learning other surgical disciplines. Later, in advanced marketing roles, he was fortunate to help coordinate and attend numerous surgeon training symposia and labs detailing new different approaches for minimally invasive degenerative spine surgery. He was able to link developmental surgeons and engineers, to collaborate in the design of new instruments and implants for some of those surgical approaches.
Rick holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. When he’s not working, he dedicates his time to his family, golf, Chicago Cubs baseball, and travel (his favorite city visited so far: Barcelona, Spain, for its Gaudi architecture, multi-lingual people, and incredible seafood paella). And always, always, Rick makes time for fresh coffee, friends, and humor.
